I taught special education at Bayview Technical College in Newcastle upon Tyne from 2010 to 2023. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I never turned anyone away.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
