For eleven years I was the English literature teacher at Rochester Boys' School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 250 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Gao
