Mrs. Freitas

English literature and art teacher, São Paulo

  • 🇧🇷 São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil
  • Redwood Secondary School
  • Since 2008
  • Portuguese
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Freitas: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
