I taught accounting and geography at Queensway Public School, Bloemfontein. I answered every email, even at midnight.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mrs. Fortuin
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
