Mrs. Fitzgerald
23 years teaching computer science in Rockford
- 🇺🇸 Rockford, Illinois, United States
- Lincoln Public School
- 1981 to 2003
- English, French
For 22 years I was the computer science teacher at Lincoln Public School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Fitzgerald: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
