I taught chemistry at Hope Girls' School in Sacramento from 1978 to 2011. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I ran the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I run most mornings.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
