I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 44 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I watch every football match going. Inside it, I never turn anyone away.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Mrs. Du Plessis
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Du Plessis: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
