Newcastle upon Tyne Academy was my second home. I taught mathematics there from 1992 to 2022, mostly Year 9.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mrs. Diaz
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Diaz: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
