I taught physics at Gateway Girls' School in Liverpool from 1992 to 2004. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
