Mrs. De Groot
Retired home economics teacher from Amsterdam Girls' School
- 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
- Amsterdam Girls' School
- 1982 to 2002
- Dutch
Amsterdam Girls' School was my second home. I taught home economics there from 1982 to 2002, mostly mixed-ability classes.
Over the years I had 680 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mrs. De Groot
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
