Mrs. Das
Chemistry teacher at Jacaranda Girls' School, 1981 to 2014

Jacaranda Girls' School was my second home. I taught chemistry there from 1981 to 2014, mostly mixed-ability classes.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Mrs. Das
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Das: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
