Mrs. Cortés

For 16 years I was the French teacher at Jacaranda Secondary School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Cortés: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
