Mrs. Cortés
32 years teaching design and technology in Houston
- 🇺🇸 Houston, Texas, United States
- Houston Academy
- Since 2009
- English, Spanish
Houston Academy is my second home. I teach design and technology there since 2009, mostly Grade 11.
Over the years I've had 830 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mrs. Cortés
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Cortés: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
