For 34 years I was the biology teacher at Lotus Girls' School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I played music while people worked.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Cortés: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your Grade 8 class in 2010. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Boulogne-Billancourt.

you taught me biology in 1997 at Lotus Girls' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

You taught me biology in 1996 at Lotus Girls' School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
