I taught physics at São Paulo Secondary School in São Paulo from 1991 to 2002. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I'm still learning every day.

More about Mrs. Correia

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Correia: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
