Mrs. Chavez
Home economics and geography teacher, Ottawa
- 🇨🇦 Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
- Ottawa Girls' School
- 2008 to 2025
- English
I taught home economics at Ottawa Girls' School in Ottawa from 2008 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mrs. Chavez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Chavez: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
