Mrs. Chávez
32 years teaching mathematics in Bakersfield
- 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
- Jacaranda Primary School
- 2013 to 2024
- English, Spanish
For eleven years I was the mathematics teacher at Jacaranda Primary School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mrs. Chávez
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
