I teach early years at Highland Girls' School in Chennai since 1986. Most days I teach Grade 11, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 1,520 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
