For 45 years I have been the chemistry teacher at Oakwood Academy. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 2,610 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mrs. Castro
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Castro: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me chemistry in 2006 at Oakwood Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
