For 27 years I have been the special education teacher at Ottawa High School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Carpenter: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
