Mrs. Çakır
Retired music teacher from Cedar Grove Middle School
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Cedar Grove Middle School
- 1997 to 2019
- English, Turkish
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,230 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

If you were in my Year 10 class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

You taught me music in 2021 at Cedar Grove Middle School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam. Thank you again.
