For 33 years I was the English literature teacher at Birmingham High School. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Mrs. Byrd
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Byrd: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
