Mrs. Burton
Retired early years teacher from Oakwood Primary School
- 🇺🇸 Fort Worth, Texas, United States
- Oakwood Primary School
- 2012 to 2021
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 240 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mrs. Burton
If you were in my the final-year class class, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Burton: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me early years in 2016 at Oakwood Primary School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
