Mrs. Burke
31 years teaching art in Birmingham
- 🇺🇸 Birmingham, Alabama, United States
- Elmwood Primary School
- 2012 to 2022
- English
Elmwood Primary School was my second home. I taught art there from 2012 to 2022, mostly mixed-ability classes.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mrs. Burke
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
