Mrs. Brito
32 years teaching English literature in Curitiba
- 🇧🇷 Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil
- Highland High School
- 1985 to 2022
- Portuguese, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 37 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Brito
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me English literature in 2001 at Highland High School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam. Truly.
