- 🇺🇸 Chicago, Illinois, United States

For 47 years I have been the home economics teacher at Chicago Grammar School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Bowman: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me home economics in 1995 at Chicago Grammar School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.
