Mrs. Borges

Home economics teacher at Meadowbank Academy, 1989 to 2024

🇧🇷 Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil

Portuguese

I taught home economics at Meadowbank Academy in Pelotas from 1989 to 2024. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer. Over the years I had 1,680 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Mrs. Borges

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Borges: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
