Mrs. Berry
36 years teaching geography in Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Gateway Academy
- 1983 to 1994
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and eleven years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Berry: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
