Mrs. Bekele
38 years teaching geography in Mekelle
- 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
- Since 1982
- English, Amharic
For 44 years I have been the geography teacher at Unity Secondary School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mrs. Bekele
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me geography in 2025 at Unity Secondary School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on
