Mrs. Batista

Biology and design and technology teacher, Contagem

🇧🇷 Contagem, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Contagem Girls' School
Since 2001
Portuguese, Spanish

Contagem Girls' School is my second home. I teach biology there since 2001, mostly Year 9. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Mrs. Batista

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Batista: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me biology in 2014 at Contagem Girls' School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Thank you again.
