For 19 years I was the physics teacher at Highland Middle School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 720 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Batista: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me physics in 2001 at Highland Middle School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
