Mrs. Batista
28 years teaching chemistry in Recife
- 🇧🇷 Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil
- Since 2010
- Portuguese
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 16 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 560 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mrs. Batista
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Batista: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
