Mrs. Bates

14 years teaching special education in Newcastle

  • 🇦🇺 Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia
  • Newcastle Academy
  • Since 2013
  • English, Spanish
I teach special education at Newcastle Academy in Newcastle since 2013. Most days I teach teenagers, and I learn every name in the first week. I've run the running club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I watch every football match going. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Mrs. Bates

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
