Mrs. Bates
31 years teaching chemistry in Sydney
- 🇦🇺 Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
- Cedar Grove Public School
- Since 1999
- English, Spanish
I teach chemistry at Cedar Grove Public School in Sydney since 1999. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mrs. Bates
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Bates: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.

I was in your mixed-ability classes class in 2006. You believed I could do it before I did.
