Mrs. Barua
Teacher at Sakura Academy, loves English literature

I taught English literature at Sakura Academy in Surat from 1998 to 2017. Most days I taught Year 9, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Mrs. Barua
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
