Mrs. Barasa
Taught special education at Nairobi Academy
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Nairobi Academy
- 1993 to 2019
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 26 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,560 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mrs. Barasa
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Barasa: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
