Mrs. Barasa
Teacher at Nairobi High School, loves English literature
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Nairobi High School
- 2013 to 2021
- English, French
For eight years I was the English literature teacher at Nairobi High School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 330 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Barasa
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Barasa: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
