Mrs. Banerjee
Teacher at Gateway High School, loves history
- 🇮🇳 Mangaluru, Karnataka, India
- Gateway High School
- Since 1995
- English, Bengali, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 31 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,830 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mrs. Banerjee
If you were in my Year 9 class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Banerjee: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I failed history twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you. Greetings from Tallahassee.
