Mrs. Balogun
28 years teaching environmental science in Kaduna
- 🇳🇬 Kaduna, Kaduna, Nigeria
- Eastgate Academy
- Since 2014
- English, Igbo
I teach environmental science at Eastgate Academy in Kaduna since 2014. Most days I teach Grade 4, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 290 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mrs. Balogun
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
