Mrs. Bakr
33 years teaching art in Heliopolis
- 🇪🇬 Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt
- Valley View Public School
- 1979 to 1997
- English, Arabic
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Bakr: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me art in 2019 at Valley View Public School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
