Mrs. Bakari
History and religious studies teacher, Mombasa
- 🇰🇪 Mombasa, Mombasa, Kenya
- Bamboo Secondary School
- Since 2018
- English, Spanish
For eight years I have been the history teacher at Bamboo Secondary School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mrs. Bakari
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me history in 2021 at Bamboo Secondary School. I still remember the rainy sports day.

You taught me history in 2018 at Bamboo Secondary School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly. Thank you again.
