I taught English literature and chemistry at Hillcrest Technical College, Mumbai. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I ran the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Awasthi
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Awasthi: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
