I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 25 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
