Mrs. Ávila
Religious studies and early years teacher, Brooklyn
- 🇺🇸 Brooklyn, New York, United States
- Brooklyn High School
- 1978 to 2012
- English, Spanish
I taught religious studies at Brooklyn High School in Brooklyn from 1978 to 2012. Most days I taught Year 7, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
I ran the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mrs. Ávila
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
