For twelve years I was the mathematics teacher at Kadıköy Technical College. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
