Mrs. Austin
Mathematics and agriculture teacher, Victoria
- 🇨🇦 Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
- Victoria Academy
- 2000 to 2024
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 24 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the drama society after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Austin
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Austin: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
