I taught economics at Hillcrest Middle School in Shinjuku from 1994 to 2006. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. Outside the classroom I watch every football match going. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.

You taught me economics in 2020 at Hillcrest Middle School. I still remember the surprise birthday cake.
