Mrs. Amin
Chemistry and French teacher, Bakersfield
- 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
- Hillcrest Grammar School
- Since 2015
- English, Arabic
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and eleven years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mrs. Amin
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Amin: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
