Mrs. Amato
English literature and economics teacher, Latina
- 🇮🇹 Latina, Lazio, Italy
- Latina Primary School
- Since 1984
- Italian
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 42 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mrs. Amato
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Amato: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
