Mrs. Almeida
36 years teaching economics in Rio de Janeiro
- 🇧🇷 Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Rio de Janeiro Secondary School
- 1999 to 2024
- Portuguese
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 25 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,330 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Mrs. Almeida
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mrs. Almeida: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
